WWE Clash in Italy 2026: Match card & bold predictions
In less than a few hours after Friday Night SmackDown, WWE is all set to host Clash in Italy in Turin, Italy. Set to take place at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, several high-stakes matches have been announced for the PLE.
On May. 31, 2026, WWE Clash in Italy will be available for fans to stream on ESPN in the US and on Netflix in several major international markets. Clash in Italy 2026 is scheduled to begin at a special start time of 10:30 a.m. PT / 1:30 p.m. ET. The PLE is set to feature a five-match card, with three men’s matches and two women’s matches. Three of the matches on the card will be championship bouts.
Here are ClutchPoints’ predictions for WWE Clash in Italy 2026.
1. Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther – WWE Undisputed Championship

Almost two years after their televised match at Crown Jewel 2024, Cody Rhodes and Gunther are again set to clash in front of a global audience. Despite their PLE match, Rhodes recently defeated Gunther at a house show in Liverpool, UK.
In his third reign, Rhodes has been the champion for 84-days. However, Gunther has been without a title for many months now. One of the hardest-hitting wrestlers on the roster, Gunther is known for his in-ring dominance. A heel wrestler, fans on the internet believe, “The Ring General” is currently in need of a championship to maintain his dominance. Fresh off his victory against Seth Rollins at WWE WrestleMania 42, Gunther is expected to defeat Rhodes on his home continent of Europe and win his first Undisputed Championship.
Our prediction: Gunther def. Cody Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed Championship.
2. Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill – WWE Women’s Championship

Early in her title reign, Rhea Ripley recently defeated Jade Cargill at WWE WrestleMania 42 to win the championship. Just a few days into being champion, Ripley is now set to have her first title defense against Cargill at Clash in Italy.
Following her recent loss in the multi-women matches, Ripley is expected to take home the victory in May. 31, 2026, in Turin. Also, based on recent rumors and spoilers, Ripley is a heavy favorite to successfully defend the title. Ripley also boasts an Italian heritage and recently opened up about her emotional attachment to the Southern European country. With so much at stake, WWE is not expected to have “Mami” lose on such a big stage.
Our prediction: Rhea Ripley def. Jade Cargill.
3. Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sol Ruca – WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship
One of the most popular young WWE Superstars on the roster, Sol Ruca, was recently promoted to the WWE main roster following her successful run in NXT. A former NXT Women’s North American Champion in NXT, Sol Ruca, is currently on the hunt for Becky Lynch’s title.
Lynch is a three-time WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion and has been holding the title since WWE WrestleMania 42. At WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Lynch defeated AJ Lee to win the gold. She is now scheduled to face Sol Ruca with the title on the line.
An industry veteran, Lynch is expected to lose the title to Ruca and help her give the much-needed push in her first-ever WWE main-roster run.
Our prediction: Sol Ruca def. Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
4. Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi

At WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Oba Femi dominated and brutally defeated Brock Lesnar. Shortly after the match, as Femi exited the stage, Lesnar heavily teased his retirement from WWE. Leaving his gloves in the ring and sharing a hug with Paul Heyman, Lesnar walked out.
However, a few weeks later, shocking everyone in the arena, “The Beast Incarnate” made his way back and attacked Femi. It was soon announced that Femi would face Lesnar in a rematch at Clash in Italy. In their second-ever match, Lesnar is expected to take home the victory and later lose to Femi again in a third match. However, having Femi lose so early in his main-roster run might put a pause to his momentum. A complicated match, depending on several factors, Femi is the one expected to keep Lesnar down for the three-count and secure his second win.
Our prediction: Oba Femi def. Brock Lesnar.
5. Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu for the WWE World Championship

Just weeks after winning the WWE World Championship from CM Punk at WrestleMania 42, Roman Reigns found himself in an active rivalry with Jacob Fatu. Crushing the part-timer tag attached to him, Reigns now regularly appears on weekly television.
Scheduled to be in a tribal combat against each other, fans can expect some heavy violence to take place. Interferences can also be expected to take place during the match, with The Usos taking Reigns’ side during his match. Although previous enemies, Solo Sikoa and The MFTs, are also expected to interfere and potentially form an alliance with Fatu, who is currently on a hunt for the gold. However, despite all the chaos, Reigns is expected to continue his title reign.
Our prediction: Roman Reigns def. Jacob Fatu.
