Wings’ Paige Bueckers makes circus shot for and-1 bucket vs. Sky

Paige Bueckers pulled off an incredible highlight with her shooting talent during the Dallas Wings’ clash with the Chicago Sky on Saturday night.

Bueckers is going through the second year of her WNBA career with the Wings. She impressed throughout her rookie campaign, winning Rookie of the Year honors while becoming an All-Star.

This season is important for Bueckers and Dallas as they attempt to go from the lottery to the playoffs within two years. So far, they are off to good start as they try to keep up that momentum.

Bueckers continues to rack up great highlights, adding more clips during Dallas’ game against Chicago. One of those plays happened midway through the second quarter, as she posted up against her defender and made a wild shot that allowed her to draw the foul for the and-one opportunity.

How Paige Bueckers, Wings played against Sky

Paige Bueckers enjoyed a solid performance on both sides of the ball as she led the Wings to the 93-92 victory over the Sky.

Four players scored in double-digits for Dallas in the win, including Bueckers. She finished with a stat line of 19 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, two steals, and one block. She shot 7-of-16 from the field, including 1-of-5 from beyond the arc, and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line. Jessica Shepard led the team with 21 points and eight rebounds, Azzi Fudd had 13 points and five rebounds, while Arike Ogunbowale provided 12 points and three rebounds.

Dallas improved to a 10-6 record on the season, sitting at fourth place in the Western Conference standings. They are above the Portland Fire and the Los Angeles Sparks while trailing the Golden State Valkyries and the Las Vegas Aces.

The Wings will look forward to their next matchup, being on the road. They take on the Seattle Storm as the contest takes place on June 22 at 10 p.m. ET.
