Why Knicks’ Josh Hart isn’t ready to celebrate after Game 3 win
Josh Hart walked with his chest out after his New York Knicks handled the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-108 Saturday. But he didn’t smile for the cameras, nor gleefully celebrated the 13-point rout in the NBA Playoffs’ Eastern Conference Finals.
He instead fired off this three-word message after going up 3-0.
“Series ain’t over,” Hart is overheard saying while walking off the Rocket Arena floor.
"Series ain't over."

Hart and the Knicks managed to drown out the fiery noise inside the Cavs’ home. Their team hosted an ECF game for the first time in nearly a decade, when Kyrie Irving and LeBron James led the franchise. The Cavs even had surprise fan reinforcements sitting courtside in Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce and pop sensation Taylor Swift. Both were there to support the Cavaliers.
But Karl-Anthony Towns silenced the Cavs fans right away. He dropped 11 points during the first quarter including nailing a fadeaway jumper off his backfoot over James Harden. KAT settled for only two points the rest of the way, but Hart and the rest of the Knicks took care of the rest.
The veteran forward Hart scored 12 points and came within one rebound of a double-double. Hart emerged as a force on defense too, grabbing four steals to lead NYK. He also dished out five assists on the floor.
Jalen Brunson dropped 30 points to lead the Knicks. Mikal Bridges delivered 22 points from his guard spot while OG Anunoby produced 21.
New York now has won five straight road games by 10 points or more.
