[WATCH] IPL 2026: Rashid Khan takes cheeky dig at Ravindra Jadeja with 'pocket' celebration as GT beat RR
The Gujarat Titans beat the Rajasthan Royals by a whopping 77 runs in Match 52 of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Chasing a daunting total of 230, the Royals were undone in the middle overs by the magic of Afghan leg-spinner Rashid Khan, who finished the game with four wickets as the Royals were bowled out for a paltry 152. After the game, the Titans uploaded a video showing Rashid emptying his pockets to reveal a card that read '+2', referring to the two points they earned after beating the Royals.

The video was apparently a response to Ravindra Jadeja's celebration in the match following the dismissal of Jos Buttler. In the Titans' batting innings, Buttler holed out to mid off trying to have a go at Jadeja. Jadeja then pointed to his pockets, referring to having Buttler 'in his pocket'. This was the third time Jadeja dismissed Buttler in 10 IPL innings.

The Titans scored 229/4 after being put into bat. The openers, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan, got half-centuries at the top, with Gill going on to score 84 off 44 balls. The Royals started in fine fashion with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scoring 36 off 16 balls, extending his red-hot form in the season, but Rashid tightened the screws in the middle overs, breaking the back of the Royals' innings. This is Rashid's first four-fer in the IPL since the 2023 season.
“Quite happy. It was something unusual for me (in the last two seasons). This season, more about enjoying myself and hitting the right areas consistently. Happy with that,” Rashid said after the match.
