Victor Wembanyama sparks wild buzz with ‘monk’ outfit before Game 6

It’s now or never for the San Antonio Spurs. They are back at home at the Frost Bank Center, trailing 3-2 to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals. If they win Game 6 on Thursday, there is a Game 7. If they don’t, then it was fun while it lasted.

Nevertheless, the central focus will be on Victor Wembanyama to see whether he can continue his reign of dominance and keep the Spurs alive. All eyes were already on him as he walked into the arena wearing a “monk” outfit of all things, per the NBA.

The comments all over social media were rife with expectations that Wemby’s yin and yang would be aligned.

One user posted an image of Wemby participating in what appears to be martial arts training.

Another user managed to equate Wemby to a superhero based on his appearance.

Then another fan chimed in by anticipating great things to happen with the Spurs at home.

Undoubtedly, Wembanyama has been head and shoulders above anyone in this series. Not just in terms of height and size, but statistics too. Over the course of five games, Wembanyama is averaging 28.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, 3.6 blocks, and 3.4 assists.

The Spurs need him to remain consistent, and a Game 7 is certain.
