Tyreek Hill urged to join NFC powerhouse and cement them as Super Bowl favorites

The Los Angeles Rams have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL, and yet it could still get stronger.

Led by MVP Matthew Stafford, the acquisition of Myles Garrett has cemented the Rams as early Super Bowl favorites.

However, one position where Los Angeles has been tipped to still add depth in its wide receiver room.

Tyreek Hill linked with Super Bowl-chasing Rams

Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton tipped the Rams to add a five-time All-Pro who is still gathering dust on the free agent market.

“The team that signs Tyreek Hill must be patient,” Moton wrote.

“So, he’s a logical fit for a playoff contender who can allow him to fully recover from surgeries on his knee.

“In all likelihood, Hill won’t be ready to play until late in the season, which wouldn’t be a problem for the Los Angeles Rams.

“Los Angeles can sign Hill on a modest contract and keep him on the shelf until late in the campaign when it’s time to make a title run.

“With his ability to line up in the slot, he would fill a need at the No. 3 wide receiver spot as a complement to Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.

“If the Rams are interested, it should be appealing to Hill. He could compete in another Super Bowl before his career comes to an end.”

Hill’s injury poses questions about his NFL future

It is presumed that Hill is still a free agent as there are still concerns over how he might fare when he eventually makes it back to the field.

Hill dislocated his knee and tore his ACL in Week 4 of the 2025 campaign, and this offseason the 32-year-old was released by the rebuilding Miami Dolphins.

In Hill’s first two seasons with the Dolphins, he accumulated 3,509 yards and 20 touchdowns, averaging an incredible 112.4 yards per game in 2023.

However, that season-ending injury has led to serious question marks about Hill’s pro future, especially after his recent admission that he still has no power in his left leg after ten months of rehab.

There have been rumors that ‘Cheetah’ might reunite with Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City.

Mahomes himself is also coming off a major knee injury, while Travis Kelce is back for a 14th season with the Chiefs that could be his last dance.

The 32-year-old wideout spent the first six seasons of his career in Kansas City, winning Super Bowl LIV over the San Francisco 49ers.

In total, Hill has 11,363 yards and 83 touchdowns on 819 career receptions, with career earnings of nearly $150 million.

Whether Rams general manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay pull the trigger remains to be seen.

The high risk, high reward nature of a move for Tyreek aligns perfectly with the Rams’ Super Bowl or bust strategy.

Having already brought in multiple names to maximize Stafford’s remaining window, adding an elite, high-ceiling weapon for the home stretch could be the final piece of the puzzle.
