Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall undercard sees late injury replacement as 44-year-old MMA fighter added

Lil Bellsy will now face 44-year-old Andy Nguyen on the Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall bill in Manchester.

Bellsy was set to take on adult star Leah Gotti on the Misfits Boxing bill in Manchester on June 13.

But Gotti has been forced to withdraw from the event releasing a statement on social media.

She has revealed that an MRI scan showed she had a brain aneurysm in a worrying condition, that has prevented her from boxing for good.

Despite her withdrawal, Misfits Boxing organisers have scrambled to make a late change.

And now former one-fight Bellator star Nguyen has been drafted in as a late replacement.

The 7-13 professional MMA fighter competed in MMA until 2024 before seemingly announcing her retirement.

But she has since competed in the bare-knuckle boxing ranks with appearances in Conor McGregor‘s BKFC and BKB.

Bellsy released the news on her own X account, which read: “Firstly, I want to send my love, strength and prayers to Leah Gotti.

“Health always comes first, and I wish her nothing but a full and speedy recovery as she focuses on getting well.

“While the opponent may have changed, the mission remains exactly the same.”

Nguyen was set to make her debut later, but she has leapt at the opportunity to step in earlier.

As part of her entourage, she will be joined by five-time BKFC champion Britain Hart.

Hall ready for Fury test

Former World’s Strongest Man Hall has a big opportunity to try and upset an established boxing name in Fury.

The younger brother of Tyson Fury has opted to pursue influencer-style more lucrative bouts as opposed to the traditional route.

Hall is up against it having had just one fight in the squared circle ranks, a defeat to fellow strongman Thor Bjornsson.

But after carrying an injury to that bout, he is confident some tactical tweaks can help give him an edge.

He told talkSPORT.com:  “It will be a lot different to that fight.

“I went into the Thor fight while throwing nothing but right hands, because I couldn’t throw my left hand.

“So yeah, I’m an orthodox fighter and you won’t see the southpaw stance because my arm is fixed this time.

“I will be a lot more technical, better defence and a lot more aggression.

“It will be a lot more improved all around. I hope Tommy Fury is the first of the Fury’s I can fight if I beat him.
