Tom Brady, Zlatan Ibrahimovic lead FOX World Cup push

FOX Sports continues building toward FIFA World Cup 2026 with a new digital project centered around two global sports icons, barrettmedia reports.

The network announced Zlatan x Brady: GOATS on GREATNESS, an hour-long conversation between Tom Brady and newly added FOX Sports analyst Zlatan Ibrahimovic. FOX plans to release clips from the sit-down before dropping the full interview next Tuesday on YouTube and social platforms.

The release date aligns with the U.S. Men’s National Team roster reveal, another major event tied to FOX’s World Cup coverage strategy.

FOX Sports president Brad Zager described the conversation as both entertaining and insightful while speaking to The Athletic.

“The back and forth was absolutely engaging and teaching, understanding their mindsets of who made them them and what separates certain athletes from others,” Zager said.

FOX expands World Cup programming

The project marks another major move by FOX as it ramps up coverage for the 2026 tournament. Ibrahimovic recently joined the network’s studio lineup alongside Thierry Henry and Alexi Lalas.

Brady’s role with FOX also continues growing beyond NFL broadcasts. While FOX has not confirmed whether Brady will appear during live World Cup coverage, the network keeps using him across major global sports properties and digital content initiatives.

Brady also maintains ties to soccer through his minority ownership stake in Birmingham City and previously appeared during FOX Sports’ World Cup Draw coverage.

The new interview further shows FOX positioning Brady as more than just a game analyst. The network continues using him as both a marquee personality and a major part of its broader World Cup rollout.
