The world is wondering if Tiger Woods will partake in the Masters Tournament, but maybe we should shift our focus to the U.S. Senior Open.

Friday brought with it word that Woods has officially entered to compete at the U.S. Senior Open, although it was quickly noted that this was simply a matter of him keeping options open and in front of him.

It has been a long time since Tiger played competitive golf, although he did tee it up on Tuesday during TGL’s finals. Whether or not he partakes at Augusta is a matter entirely unto itself, but it is interesting to note that he at least wants the door open for the U.S. Senior Open.

We have yet to see Tiger compete on the Champions Tour and it goes without saying that watching something like this would be fascinating. Could Tiger really partake? Time will tell.

For now we continue to wait.
