Aperoll

Bayside View rode well clear of the rest of the field when a strong favourite but was ridden all the way to the line to ensure it was a lengthy victory.

Aperoll was impressive at Royal Ascot and just got pipped for second, to come third in the Chesham Stakes and surely gets ahead again after winning at Newbury on debut.

Tawajjah

Finished in the top two in the last four runs and won once already and the five-year-old returned from a mammoth 612 days off before placing a great second last time out.

That’s a rarity and surely has to go better now after that run that brushed off the cobwebs.

My Ballyquinn

This three-year-old is one of the few to get over the line at this trip and it’s unlikely Probation is worth the risk stepping up in trip so significantly.

Probation does get plenty of weight advantages including a 7lb claimer with jockey Alexandra Egan.

But Oisin Murphy gets on board My Ballyquinn for the first time and there’s a strong chance he wins for the third time this season.
