It comes after the PDC agreed a three-year extension with the broadcaster.

High-profile PDC events, including the World Masters, UK Open, World Series of Darts Finals, European Championship and Players Championship Finals will be aired on free-to-air TV until at least 2028.

One man who was not in the line-up is 2001 World Grand Prix winner and two-time World Championship semi-finalist Warriner-Little.

He wrote on X: “It would have be nice/professional after 20 years service with ITV to at least be told I have been thrown in the gutter. Good Luck to everyone. #VeryPoor I shall be from this point reviewing everything I do.

talkSPORT have contacted the PDC for comment.
