The Browns player who just received huge shoutout from George Kittle

The Cleveland Browns are entering a new era without Myles Garrett in 2026. Browns fans should have hope for the future, especially if they can land a franchise quarterback in the 2027 NFL Draft. It also helps to have one of the game’s best young tight ends on the roster, too.

49ers tight end George Kittle heaped praise on Harold Fannin Jr. during a recent interview.

“One guy that I am a huge fan of, who I think is going to be very talented, is [Harold] Fannin Jr. from the Browns,” Kittle said on Tuesday, via The Pat McAfee Show. “First off, automatically awesome number 44. Two of my favorite players in NFL history, Kyle Juszczyk and Dallas Clark, GOATs. So like you’ve already got that working for ya. I’ve watch plenty of his tape, when we played the Brown last year he had an awesome touchdown.”

Fannin immediately became a playmaker in Cleveland during his rookie season. He logged 72 receptions for 731 receiving yards and six touchdowns on a bad Browns team.

Kittle is not the only one impressed by Fannin. In fact, Browns head coach Todd Monken compared Fannin to Brock Bowers back in April.

One reason why Kittle is so high on Fannin is because the young tight end can do it all.

“He’s a very talented player. Moves fast, has a good sense of space, can win on man-to-man, catches everything,” Kittle added. “And gives great effort in the run game. He’s impressed me a ton, so I’m excited about him.”

Perhaps Kittle recognizes what makes Fannin great because it is very similar to his own signature skills.

It will be fascinating to see if Fannin can take another step forward this fall after an impressive rookie campaign.
