Carabao Cup fourth round draw details: Date and time as last 16 ties decided

The remaining clubs in this season’s Carabao Cup will discover their fourth round opponents next week.

Following the conclusion of the third round, those sides into the last 16 will have been determined.

A total of 16 third round ties are being played across the weeks commencing September 7 and 14.

Due to clashes with UEFA competitions, the matches have been spread across two weeks.

Those fixtures will see 19 Premier League clubs in action as those in Europe enter the tournament.

Meanwhile, seven sides from the Championship also remain in the competition.

The last 32 is completed by five League One outfits and one club from League Two in the shape of Fleetwood Town.

When is the Carabao Cup fourth round draw?

A date and time for the fourth round draw has yet to be officially confirmed by the EFL.

However, in line with previous rounds and seasons, it is likely to be scheduled for Wednesday, September 16.

This would see the draw take place during coverage of Manchester United vs Brighton.

The match has been selected for live television broadcast on Sky Sports and ITV, with the draw expected to follow its conclusion.
