There’s another busy night of football action on Tuesday evening, with no fewer than 17 games across the Champions League and EFL.

As well as the battle to reach the last-16 stage in Europe, valuable points are to be played for in the Championship, League One and League Two.

Southampton to beat QPR @ 3/4

There are at least nine teams outside of the Championship top six that will still believe the play-offs are within their grasp, amongst them are Southampton.

Saints will have been frustrated to draw with Charlton on Saturday, but it did extend their unbeaten league run to six games.

Tonda Eckert’s men have lost just three of their 16 fixtures at St Mary’s and now face an R’s team that have won just three of nine fixtures in 2026, with one of those against relegated Sheffield Wednesday.

Southampton have won the last five meetings between the two teams, including a 2-1 success at Loftus Road back in November.

Bodo/Glimt pulled off a huge surprise when beating Inter 3-1 in Norway last week, but now need to hold their nerve in the San Siro to reach the Champions League last-16 stage for the first time.

Both teams scored in the first leg and it’s worth noting that Inter have conceded in each of their last four home games across all competitions.

Francesco Esposito is only 20 but already looks like a star of the future, scoring three goals in five senior appearances for Italy.

The academy product already has seven goals across all competitions this season for Inter, including two in their last three matches.

Jens Petter Hauge spent a short time at AC Milan earlier this decade and will have enjoyed scoring against their city rivals in the first leg.

The 26-year-old can be a real handful and Alessandro Bastoni, who was cautioned in Inter’s weekend win over Lecce, is likely to be given the task of thwarting his threat.

Swansea vs Preston – Zan Vipotnik to score 2 or more goals @ 7/1

Swansea striker Zan Vipotnik now leads the Championship goalscoring charts, with 16 goals in 31 league appearances for the Slovenian.

Vipotnik is still only 23 but has shone in the second tier this term and has been a big reason for the Swans’ run of three wins in their last four games.

The striker has scored five times in the last five home matches, which includes the winner in Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Bristol City.

Vipotnik comes up against a Preston team that have won just once in their last seven league games and have lost their last two on the road.
