This Friday sees plenty of the European Leagues in action plus the first leg of the Championship playoff tie between Hull and Millwall. 

We’ve picked out a bet of the day, bet builder and an acca for the day’s action.

Bet of the day 

Hull to beat Millwall @ 19/10 

Hull clinched the last playoff place on the final day of the season with a 2-1 win over Norwich City, while Millwall narrowly missed out on automatic promotion, finishing a point behind Ipswich Town. 

10 points separated Hull and Millwall in the league, but they ended up with one win apiece when the two sides met, with both recording 3-1 away wins.

Hull would have felt unfortunate to come up empty-handed when they hosted Millwall in March, as they generated an xG of 3.04, which was higher than when they beat Millwall away from home (2.03). 

What’s key here is that in both games Hull managed to create plenty of chances, breaking down a solid defence.

It’s important they get a positive result on Friday, as The Den is a very tricky place to go, and Millwall had one of the strongest home records this season.

They have the attacking prowess to build a healthy lead and are expected to get a win to take into the second leg.

Bet builder 

Over 3.5 goals in Borussia Dortmund vs Frankfurt, Serhou Guirassy to score, Frankfurt over 3.5 corners @ 17/5 

Borussia Dortmund host Eintracht Frankfurt in what should be a tasty Bundesliga game, with the two sides having scored 122 goals between them, including three each when they met earlier in the season. 

The market is expecting goals, but over 3.5 is still a decent enough price to include in our bet builder, and that will be our first leg.

Serhou Guirassy has had another good season for Dortmund, netting 15 so far. He’s still a few short of the 21 he managed last season, but can edge closer to that with a goal here.

Frankfurt tend to generate plenty of corners, particularly away from home, as they look to take advantage of set pieces. 

Getting at least four is a reasonable expectation, so over 3.5 corners for Frankfurt can round off our bet builder.

Acca 

Hull to win, over 3.5 goals in Dortmund vs Frankfurt, Lens to win, Sassuolo or draw double chance @ 39/4 

Hull winning the first leg of the Championship playoff match looks the bet of the night and can kick off the acca.

Borussia Dortmund vs Eintracht Frankfurt produced six goals in the reverse fixture, and another exciting match is expected here, so we’ll go for over 3.5 goals.

RC Lens have an outstanding record at home, winning all of their last five and 16 of their last 17, with the only loss coming to AS Monaco. 

They host a struggling FC Nantes, who look set for relegation, and should pick up all three points.

Sassuolo have started to find some form in recent weeks, with three wins in their last five, including a 2–0 win over AC Milan.

It’s hard to see them losing to Torino based on how they have played recently, and backing them double chance can round off the acca.
