Bet of the day
Over 3.5 goals in Ipswich v Liverpool @ 6/5
Ipswich were crushed 5-2 at Old Trafford by Manchester United on Sunday and the Suffolk side face another tough test when Liverpool head for Portman Road.
Gary O’Neil’s men conceded a whopping 33 efforts on goal and an xG figure of 4.77 in Manchester last weekend, which are clearly worrying numbers.
Ipswich will hope for better on home turf and they did beat Sunderland 2-1 at Portman Road in their opening Premier League game of the campaign.
Liverpool are still searching for their first Premier League victory of the season following 2-2 draws with Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.
The Reds haven’t looked secure at the back, but Andoni Iraola’s men did create an expected goals number of 2.98 and hit 27 shots when drawing 2-2 with Newcastle at St James’ Park on Matchday One.
It’s a big ask for Ipswich to keep Liverpool at bay, but the Reds may struggle to stop the Blues finding the net at the other end.
At 6/5, backing over 3.5 goals rates the best play on Friday’s coupon.

Real Madrid to win, over 2.5 goals, both teams to score bet builder & Jude Bellingham anytime goalscorer @ 9/2
It will be interesting to see what veteran manager Jose Mourinho can do at Real Madrid this season and the early signs have been positive.
Los Blancos crushed Real Sociedad 4-1 in their first La Liga contest of the season and that was followed by a 4-0 hammering of Malaga.
A trip to Real Betis will demand more, but Real Madrid have hit 39 efforts on goal in their opening two Spanish top-flight matches and they may be difficult to stop.
Betis were beaten 5-2 at Levante on Saturday, and while that result was a little unjust, another high-scoring defeat could await Manuel Pellegrini’s men, with Jude Bellingham set to shine.
The midfielder’s brilliant summer form with England has carried on into the new La Liga campaign. He has already scored twice domestically and can strike again in Seville.
Acca
Livingston, PSG, Genoa treble @ 31/4
Livingston were beaten 1-0 at Arbroath last time out, but Cameron MacPherson’s red card took the game away from Livi and they should prove a class above Stenhousemuir at Almondvale.
PSG were held to another Ligue 1 draw by Lille last Friday, but the Parisians recorded 73 per cent possession and won the shot count 18-9 at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy. Luis Enrique’s men can see off Monaco in the French capital.
Como were second-best when drawing 1-1 with Udinese in their opening Serie A assignment, and last weekend’s 2-1 success at Napoli was a little fortunate.
Genoa are defensively strong enough at Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris to keep Como at bay and perhaps spring a surprise.
