Suns’ Grayson Allen on injury report vs. Blazers in NBA Play-In Tournament
The Phoenix Suns will look to earn a ticket to the playoffs as they take on the Portland Trail Blazers in the Play-In Tournament on Tuesday at Mortgage Matchup Center.
The Suns earned the seventh seed after finishing the regular season with a 45-37 record, just a few notches better than the Trail Blazers, who got the eighth seed with a 42-40 slate.
Grayson Allen could suit up for Phoenix, as he was listed as questionable in the NBA’s injury report.

Allen has been dealing with a sore hamstring, leaving him in and out of the lineup this month. He sat out their season finale against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday due to injury management.
The extra rest should bode well for the 30-year-old Allen, who averaged a career-high 16.5 points on top of 3.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.4 steals in 51 games this season. His shooting, however, dropped to only 40.3%, including 34.9% from beyond the arc, both of which are the lowest since his rookie year.
Still, he should be a key player for the Suns against the Trail Blazers, as he is expected to shadow Deni Avdija, Shaedon Sharpe, and Jrue Holiday, while also providing offensive punch to support Devin Booker, Jalen Green, and Dillon Brooks.
Phoenix won the season series against Portland, 2-1.
The Suns are looking to return to the playoffs after embarrassingly missing out last season despite having the star-studded trio of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal.

Suns injury report

Grayson Allen – Questionable (left hamstring soreness)

Blazers injury report

Jerami Grant – Questionable (right calf strain)
Damian Lillard – Out (left Achilles tendon)
