Rams’ Davante Adams adds fuel to the Aaron Donald return rumors on social media

The Los Angeles Rams are all in on a Super Bowl 61 push. They already had one of the most potent passing attacks in the NFL last season when they made a run to the NFC Championship team. Matthew Stafford is coming off an MVP win, and Davante Adams and Puka Nacua form the best one-two receiving punch in the entire league. The team got even better in the offseason, too.

Los Angeles brought in Jaylen Watson and Trent McDuffie from the Kansas City Chiefs to boost the secondary, and Myles Garrett was traded for in the blockbuster of the offseason. The team may not be done adding talent, though. Ever since Garrett, who is the best defensive player in football, was traded for, rumors have swirled that Aaron Donald could come out of retirement and rejoin the Rams.

Donald is a three-time Defensive Player of the Year and one of the best players in NFL history. While he has been out of the league since 2023, it is widely believed that Donald still has plenty left in the tank. He made the Pro Bowl in all 10 seasons of his career and retired after just his age 32 season. Donald would provide interior pressure for a team that just added the best edge rusher in the league, and Adams just added fuel to the fire that Donald could be returning. The Rams receiver posted a picture with Donald on his Instagram story with the caption “My Brudda.”

This comes not long after Donald was seen working out at the Rams facility. While the defensive tackle has utilized the Rams’ facilities in past years, it is becoming more and more clear that a return to the only team he ever played for is a possibility, and the Rams’ current players would certainly welcome a reunion.
