Raiders’ Brock Bowers gets ‘100%’ label from insider amid injury rehab
The Las Vegas Raiders will have a new feel on the offensive side of the ball, as Klint Kubiak is destined to transform the group. One of the key pieces will be Brock Bowers, who is feeling good after an injury-riddled season last year. NFL Network’s Omar Ruiz said that the tight end feels great, which is good news for the Raiders.
“He feels 100%, he’s feeling great. As good as he’s felt for a long time. But he said, ‘It’s all about doing preventative care at this point.’ Making sure that he stays healthy throughout the season,” Ruiz said.
When I asked Klint Kubiak about his early impressions of Brock Bowers, he described him as a “football robot from heaven.” More on the #Raiders star TE and his new head coach as they get ready for mini-camp next week

Bowers hurt his knee early last season and had to miss several games, but he came back and put up solid stats that led him to his second Pro Bowl selection.
“Last year was frustrating,” Bowers said via Sam Warren of The Athletic. “First game, kind of banged my knee a little bit, so definitely wasn’t how I planned my second year to go. A little adversity, and I’ve just got to come back stronger this year.”
With Kubiak now in control and healthy Bowers ready to compete, this offense could take things to another level. Kubiak has already called Bowers a “football robot from heaven,” and he knows what the tight end is capable of when he gets the ball in his hands.
“I guess it’s a compliment,” Bowers said. “(My teammates) thought it was funny too. They were all poking fun at me and stuff, so it was good.”
The Raiders will have a reliable quarterback in Kirk Cousins to throw him the ball to start the season, but at some point, Fernando Mendoza will take over the reins. The one thing the Raiders know is that they have a head coach who will put them in the best position to succeed.
