Nottingham Forest target £40m-rated Liverpool player
Curtis Jones is a target for Nottingham Forest, talkSPORT understands.
Liverpool are aware of the Forest interest as Vitor Pereira’s side look to strengthen in the centre of the park following the £116million departure of Elliot Anderson.

Inter Milan recently saw a £21.5million approach instantly shut down.
Liverpool value Jones in the region of £40million, but it is unclear whether Forest are prepared to go that high.
Liverpool are content to keep hold of Jones if their asking price is not met.
Jones is heading into the final year of his contract, but should he remain beyond this summer, talks over a new contract are not ruled out.
Forest also have Spurs’ Lucas Bergvall high in their thinking.
The Swedish midfielder has asked the club to leave as he seeks a new challenge.
Chelsea and Aston Villa could also move for Bergvall after failed moves during the January transfer window.
The Blues are monitoring his situation having seen their previous enquiries rejected.
Jones’ Liverpool future
The 25-year-old has spent 16 years with his boyhood club after joining the academy in 2010.
However, he started less than half of the Reds’ Premier League fixtures last season.

Of Jones’ 34 league outings, only 18 came as part of the starting XI under Arne Slot.
Jones is looking to secure a move away from the club during the current transfer window.
Inter had also shown interest in January, but saw an offer rebuffed by Liverpool.
talkSPORT understands the Reds are prepared to keep hold of the midfielder if their valuation is not met. The club are also comfortable with allowing Jones to leave on a free transfer next summer.

Since making his first-team debut in 2019, he has made 228 appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals.
Jones has also won eight trophies including the Champions League and two Premier League titles.
