Nottingham Forest attempt double Crystal Palace raid after £22m Daniel Munoz deal agreed

Nottingham Forest have sent a bid for Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson, talkSPORT understands.

New Forest boss Oliver Glasner is attempting to raid his old club for a second time this summer.

Glasner left Palace at the end of the 2025/26 season after winning the Conference League.

Forest have agreed a £22m fee for defender Daniel Munoz.

Now England goalkeeper Henderson is in their sights.

However, talkSPORT understands Palace consider him not for sale.

The East Midlands club are searching for a new goalkeeper before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.

Matz Sels started for the 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Saturday.

Henderson is Crystal Palace‘s current club captain, having joined from Manchester United on a permanent deal in 2023.

The 29-year-old also played 20 games for Forest in the 2022/23 season while on loan from United.

Daniel Munoz deal

Colombia international Munoz has been given permission to undergo a medical at Forest.

The 30-year-old has two years left on his contract at Selhurst Park.

He won the FA Cup and Conference League with Palace under Glasner.

Munoz has made 109 appearances for Palace, scoring 11 goals, and played in their opening 2-0 Premier League defeat.

He was then an unused substitute in their defeat to Man City on Friday.

Forest want Harrison Armstrong

Nottingham Forest have also launched an ambitious bid for Everton teenage midfielder Harrison Armstrong.

The Toffees are prepared to sell the 19-year-old, with Forest offering £40m.

Oliver Glasner verdict

Speaking to talkSPORT after the draw with Liverpool, Glasner said: “I could see many positive signs, many positive aspects in the game.

“Defensively, attacking wise, how many chances we created, scoring the first two goals for us.

“The first Premier League game against Leeds was very tight and we had the small margins on their side.

“I think the cup game was not our best performance, but we learned from it. 

“We are learning from every single game right now and this game today will also help us in growing. 

“I think the performance especially gives us a lot of confidence for the season.”

Forest are next in action against Tottenham on Saturday, September 5.
