Next West Ham manager odds: Former Burnley boss favourite to takeover Nuno Espirito Santo

West Ham United have been relegated into the Championship and as a result boss Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to leave.

The board have reportedly been discussing his future and as a result speculation is growing at who could be the next manager at the London Stadium, with the main goal of course going straight back into the Premier League.

As such, Scott Parker who has led multiple teams to such success is the odds-on favourite.

However, the former Burnley manager departed Turf Moor in April shortly after their relegation was confirmed before the season had gone into its final month.

Parker has helped Fulham, Bournemouth and Burnley get into the Premier League with a stint at Club Brugge in between his latest return to English football.

However, former West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic is also in the list to replace Santo.

The Croatian managed the Hammers between 2015 and 2017 where the team broke their own records in the top-flight, including highest number of goals scored in a season and highest number of points attained, to name just a couple.

However, his first season with the club was his best and the following two poorer seasons eventually led to him being sacked.

Despite this, he still left with one of the best points per game record for West Ham in the Premier League against previous managers.

Among the higher prices in the potential replacements looks interesting with the likes of Sam Allardyce being linked with a return, Frank Lampard being 12/1 to leave Coventry and join a Championship side instead of a Premier League stint.

Former Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also among the bigger odds, but would need to be swayed back into a managerial position having last managed Manchester United between 2018 and 2021 and then taking a long break before being Besiktas boss in 2025 for a few months.

He left the Turkish club in August 2025 and could be keen for another stint in the EFL.

Having previously managed Cardiff City in 2014, between January and September.
