Man Utd will have to make a quick return to action after facing Bayern at home in the Champions League Quarter-Final on Tuesday night at Old Trafford.

Man City don’t have that issue so have a bit of an upper hand in having a full week to prepare since their last league clash.

And they are eight points clear of their rivals and the rest of the division, in what could be just their second Women’s Super League title.

The title itself is all but sealed up barring a shock with just four games left in the league, but a win for United here could close the gap and open that possibility.

In the last nine years Chelsea have won eight, including the last six in a row while Arsenal won one title in the 2018/19 season, but now it looks destined to move out of London.

Man City are on a great run this season but have dropped points lately.

Drawing 0-0 to Aston Villa and losing 1-0 to Arsenal in their last four in the league.

However in that time they’ve also won 6-0 over Leicester and 5-2 against Tottenham.

City beat United in the reverse fixture in November 3-0 and it looks as though it should be a similar outcome here with United stretched a bit further in their Champions League fixtures.

It’s no surprise City are making such an impact this season with the players they have.

Vivianne Miedema plays a vital role from the centre and has scored eight in 18.

If that isn’t enough they’ve also got Khadija Shaw up top scoring on average one goal per game – 18 goals in 18 appearances.

Shaw scored three in their 5-2 victory over Spurs at the weekend which helped her get to this average, but can’t be discounted from adding to her tally further in such a big game.

She bagged her hat-trick in record time too as she scored all three within 13 minutes.

Aoba Fujino has also made a significant impact off the bench for City and now has a great strike-rate with five goals in just 12 appearances.
