Luke Humphries and Nathan Aspinall travel to Cheltenham in style less than 24 hours after Premier League night
Luke Humphries and Nathan Aspinall were back at Cheltenham just hours after a Premier League night in Nottingham.
‘Cool Hand’ took to his Instagram story to show a picture of Aspinall and himself travelling to the final day of the festival in a limo with some champagne.

Humphries attended the first day of the festival along with Aspinall and Luke Littler.
But unlike those two, he wasn’t there on day two, electing to prepare for the night in Nottingham instead.
However, with it being the Gold Cup, he decided to return and some money was clearly splashed by the duo.
The former world champion won over £3,000 on his opening bet that he donated to charity.
And after being thrashed by Jonny Clayton 6-1 in the final in Nottingham last night, he re-joined up with Aspinall to enjoy the festivities of the last day of the 2026 Cheltenham festival.
Aspinall had a night off yesterday, having not been included in the Premier League this year following a poor season and a drop down the rankings.
But none of that appeared to be bothering him on Humphries’ Instagram story.
Trying again
‘The Asp’ was joined for Friday’s action by his partner Kirsty Wilson as he joked on Instagram she’d offer him better luck in picking a winner.
“The boss is with me today as I’m rubbish at betting and I need help,” Aspinall posted on his Instagram story.
Perhaps Aspinall could’ve leaned on Humphries for his picks, although the former world champion admitted on Tuesday he’d had an up-and-down day at the track.

Speaking to media on Tuesday, Humphries said: “I’m good. I’ve been busy but it’s nice to have a day out and enjoy myself here.
“As long as you are being busy and working hard, usually the rewards pay off so I am happy with that.
“I would have been if Kopek would have won. I had a lot riding on that one. But unfortunately it didn’t come in.
“I am not too far down. It’s not about the betting for me, it’s about the enjoyment and having fun.
“Being a part of a global event that everyone loves. As much as it has been my day, there are two races to go.”
Perhaps Aspinall, Littler and Humphries all added some weight to their wallets after the Gold Cup, which was run and won by Gaelic Warrior.

It was a historic victory across multiple metrics, as jockey Paul Townend produced a Gold Cup-winning ride for the fifth time in his career.
Gaelic Warrior’s win also marked the fifth time trainer Willie Mullins had won the Gold Cup and the third time in the last four years.
