Lexie Hull set to run it back with Caitlin Clark, Fever

Lexie Hull is returning to the Indiana Fever. She made the announcement in a video on TikTok with Caitlin Clark, via Chloe Peterson of indystar.com.

Alexa Philippou of ESPN later shared details of the contract.

“Hull is signing a multi-year deal to return to the Fever, I’m told. She was a popular free agent who weighed several options but opted to return to Indiana and keep their young core together,” Philippou reported.

The move comes after the Fever recently re-signed Kelsey Mitchell. With Mitchell, Hull, Clark and Aliyah Boston on the roster, the Fever’s outlook is bright. Clark missed a significant portion of 2025 due to injuries. If Indiana’s core can stay healthy in 2026, the team could make a serious postseason run.

Hull, 26, has played an important role for Indiana over the years. She is not the best player on the team, but Hull is more than capable of making a significant impact.

In 2025, the Fever guard averaged 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per outing across 44 games played (30 starts). With Clark limited due to injury, Hull’s play was especially important for Indiana.

She shot 36.7 percent from beyond the arc and 39.5 percent from the field. While both marks were down from the 2024 season, Hull also shot the ball more than ever last year.

Lexie Hull will look to make a big impact once again in 2026 after re-signing with Indiana. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see what other moves the Fever end up making in WNBA free agency or via trades before the 2026 season.
