Deuce McBride has been on a steady rise during his five seasons with the New York Knicks, slowly increasing his minutes and scoring averages year over year, culminating in 12 points per game over 26 minutes this season. His average playing time has been a bit down during the postseason, but he might’ve earned himself a couple of extra minutes with his performance in Game 4 against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Knicks were shooting out the lights in Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon, and McBride was a huge part of that, going 7-for-9 from three. McBride changed his game a bit this season, taking a greater number of threes while hitting them at a 41.3% clip. If he continues to give the Knicks another option from three, they become a dangerous offense, as everyone saw on Sunday.

It was a quieter game from Towns, as Mike Brown limited his minutes with the game out of reach for the 76ers almost from the start. The center played just 20 minutes, recording 17 points, 10 assists, and four rebounds.

The Knicks now await the winner of the other Eastern Conference playoff series, with the Detroit Pistons holding a 2-1 lead. The Knicks will get some extra time off, with the Cavaliers-Pistons series lasting until Wednesday at the earliest, but likely longer if it remains back-and-forth.
