Knicks’ Jalen Brunson nearly sent Boosie to hospital in sideline crash
The New York Knicks came out guns blazing in Game 6 against the Atlanta Hawks, as the team owned an 83-36 lead at halftime. However, late in the second quarter of the contest, Jalen Brunson seemed to have potentially injured famed rapper Boosie, who is attending the playoff contest.
Brunson, who is 29 years old, dove for a loose ball heading out of bounds near the sideline. In doing so, the Knicks star bumped right into Boosie. Jalen Brunson then pulled Boosie out of his seat, who then sat on the ground holding his knee in pain. Boosie slapped the ground before the camera cut to a smiling Brunson.

That sly smile from the eight-year veteran indicates that he doesn’t think that Boosie is seriously injured. The slap on the ground from Boosie even seemed like it was more for comedic purposes than him actually being angry. At the end of the day, the 43-year-old rapper appears to be fine, as he is still sitting in his seat on the sidelines.
Besides, the Knicks absolutely smashing the Hawks in Game 6 through the first two quarters probably hurts more than whatever is going on with Boosie’s knee. New York outscored Atlanta in the first quarter 40-15, then backed that up in the second quarter, outscoring their opponent 43-21.
A victory for Jalen Brunson and the Knicks clinches the first-round series against the Hawks. If they hold on to the lead and accomplish that feat, it will be their fourth-straight year of at least reaching the second round of the playoffs.
