Jurgen Klopp makes Germany quit threat just minutes after being announced as manager

Jurgen Klopp vowed he will be ‘gone’ as Germany manager if the media ‘don’t leave my family alone’.

The 59-year-old made the sensational threat shortly after being unveiled as the new boss of Die Mannschaft.

“On the day you no longer want this, say so. And I’m gone. No severance pay,” Klopp said.

“If you say tomorrow that I’m crap, I’m gone. Not just individuals — it would have to be more than that.

“If the DFB says I’m crap, I’m gone. If you behave out of line and don’t leave my family alone, I’m gone.”

Klopp’s warning came after he brought an end to a two-year stint as the head of global soccer for Red Bull.

He recently shared his knowledge and expertise as a football pundit with during the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
