Jared McCain drops Drake Iceman TikTok dance before during playoff lull

Jared McCain couldn’t miss the opportunity of dancing to Drake’s new Iceman drop.

The Oklahoma City Thunder star uploaded a video of himself dancing to Drake’s “Shabang,” a record from the rapper’s latest album drop.

“Maneesh on the beat, shabang/ All of my opps, they dead/ Why do they gas me up?/ Where does it go? My head,” McCain lip-syncs the lyrics to the track on TikTok with some dance moves of his own.

Iceman was one of the three releases the Toronto rapper made on Friday, May 15. In addition to Iceman, he dropped Habibti and Maid of Honour. Iceman shows off his rapping prowess, Habibti leans into his traditional R&B style records, and Maid of Honour is a dance-inspired offering. Prior to these drops, his last solo album was 2023’s For All The Dogs. The project was highly anticipated following Drake’s feud with Kendrick Lamar in 2024 where the rappers went back-and-forth over several diss tracks.

McCain supporting Drake’s new drops is not at all surprising, as he’s known to be a big fan of the rapper and was consistently online sharing the countdown for the Iceman drop. The record choice of McCain is fitting following OKC completing a 4-0 sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Western Conference Semifinals.

Now that OKC will be soon heading to the Western Conference Finals, McCain will have three albums worth of Drake songs to get him through.

Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the San Antonio Spurs begins on Monday, May 18. As for the Eastern Conference Finals, The New York Knicks will find out who they are up against in the Eastern Conference Finals after Game 7 series between the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers tonight (May 17).
