Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni send bold end of season warning to NFL in Eagles’ Hard Knocks finale
A.J. Brown could get traded and Philadelphia Eagles fans are raging at head coach Nick Sirianni again.
But while an offseason of change is looming in Philly, the reigning Super Bowl MVP has vowed to return even stronger in 2026.

Super Bowl MVP makes a statement
“We’ll be back,” Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts confidently said on the latest episode of Hard Knocks.
Hurts issued those words with Sirianni sitting nearby in an otherwise empty auditorium.
“I have no doubt,” Sirianni replied to his QB.
“2025 End Of Year Team Meeting” was projected on a screen in the middle of the room, while Hurts wore a blue sweatshirt and looked more like a high schooler than a pro QB with $111 million in career earnings.
“This is straight out of a movie,” one fan tweeted.
“The sequel will have a better ending,” a second fan wrote.
“Definitely seems like a Jalen idea and telling that he chose to share the moment with Sirianni,” a third fan posted.
“This gonna hit like crazy when we win the next (Super Bowl) and it’s in the documentary,” a fourth fan said.
Eagles have a lot to fix in 2026
The Eagles’ 2025 season ended with a disappointing 23-19 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers in an NFC Wild Card playoff game.
Philly was again dragged down by an inconsistent offense, which led to Kevin Patullo being fired as offensive coordinator.

Hurts only threw for 168 yards and a touchdown, while the Eagles failed to take advantage of a 13-10 halftime lead by producing only 36 yards in the third quarter.
Hurts’ final fourth-down throw fell incomplete and Philly fell four wins short or repeating as Super Bowl champs.
“I just didn’t make the play,’ Hurts said. ”I own it. I own it all.”
Hurts has big expectations for new year
Changing coordinators could help Hurts but the most pressing question surrounds Brown, who was targeted seven times vs the 49ers but only caught three balls for 25 yards.
The veteran wide receiver called out his team and offense several times during the season, yet failed to produce in the playoffs and then ducked media questions after the loss.
Brown was separated from Sirianni by Eagles chief security officer Dom DiSandro during a sideline confrontation vs the 49ers.

Brown ripped off his helmet and yelled at the Philly head coach, who later played down the heated moment.
“I think he knows how I feel about him,” Sirianni said after the incident. “I have a special relationship with him. We’ve probably (gone) through every emotion you can possibly have together.
“We’ve laughed together. We’ve cried together. We’ve yelled at each other. We’re both emotional.”
Hurts has already vowed that the Eagles will ‘be back’ in 2026 and he’s been backed by Siranni.
A new coordinator — and potentially a new top receiver — could follow in Philly.
