Sunrisers Hyderabad are set to play their first game at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday, April 5. They will lock horns with the Lucknow Super Giants.

After losing to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru by six wickets in their opening game, Sunrisers Hyderabad bounced back commendably to beat the Kolkata Knight Riders by 65 runs at Eden Gardens. Ishan Kishan and Co. will be oozing confidence heading into Sunday's clash. They are up against the Super Giants, who lost by six wickets to Delhi Capitals at the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

Here is SRH’s strongest predicted XI vs LSG, Match 10, IPL 2026:

Top order: Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan (C & WK)

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma added 92 inside seven overs, Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, IPL, Delhi, May 25, 2025

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma were dismissed cheaply in the first game, but followed it up with an 82-run stand in 34 balls against the Knights at the Eden Gardens. They will look to continue from where they left off. Ishan Kishan, on the other hand, played a stunning knock under pressure against the Royal Challengers. The in-form batter was dismissed early in his innings against the Knights, but would be raring to fire on all cylinders on his team's home ground.

Middle order: Nitish Kumar Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen, Salil Arora, Aniket Verma

Nitish Kumar Reddy won the Player of the Match award in the last game for his all-round heroics. He would want to go from strength to strength. Heinrich Klaasen's form is important for the Orange Army, and they would have loved seeing him scoring a crucial half-century under pressure in the last game.

Aniket Verma played a stunning knock in the game against Bengaluru, but couldn't back it up in the game against the Knights. He will have a key role to play in closing out the innings for Hyderabad. Salil Arora has had two chances but failed to live up to his potential. The 23-year-old would be desperately wanting to get among the runs.

Bowlers: Harsh Dubey, Jaydev Unadkat, Shivang Kumar, David Payne

Harsh Dubey might have gone for a few runs in the first two games, but he took one important wicket in each of them. Jaydev Unadkat has used his experience to good effect and picked up four wickets in two games at an average of 12.50.

Shivang Kumar bowled well in patches on his IPL debut in the last game. The left-arm wrist spinner will hope to get a long rope this season at Hyderabad. David Payne has given away 70 runs in the first overs he has bowled across the two games. He picked up two wickets against Bengaluru but couldn't get a breakthrough versus the Knights.

Sunrisers Hyderabad predicted playing XI:

Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan (C & WK), Nitish Kumar Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen, Salil Arora, Aniket Verma, Harsh Dubey, Jaydev Unadkat, David Payne, Shivang Kumar.
