Injury update emerges on WWE’s Sol Ruca after scary fall on NXT

A scary scene unfolded during the Apr. 21, 2026, edition of WWE NXT as Sol Ruca was thrown off a ledge and onto two tables, worrying fans that she suffered an injury.

Luckily, according to PWInsider, Ruca was “able to make her way to the back on her feet” following the conclusion of the broadcast. PWInsider also noted that she had a cut on the “back of her head” when she fell.

She appeared to be in high spirits, throwing up her signature hand sign to the crowd as she walked backstage. Surely, she was evaluated further there.

During the Apr. 21 edition of NXT, Ruca took on Zaria in a “Last Woman Standing” match. Zaria won after throwing Ruca off a ledge. They initially appeared to embrace, but Zaria eventually shoved her off the ledge and onto the tables.

However, Ruca took a hard landing. She only went through the closest table, and her head hit the other one hard, likely causing the cut.

Is Sol Ruca okay after her injury scare on WWE NXT?

Hopefully, Ruca is fine after the fall. She deserves a lot of credit for taking such a scary bump. She fell backward onto the tables from a high distance.

This is likely Ruca’s last match in NXT, as she was called up to the main roster during the Apr. 20 edition of Monday Night RAW. She confronted the newly-crowned Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan, and lost to her in a non-title match.

Zaria interfered in the match, causing Ruca to lose to Morgan. This set up their “Last Woman Standing” match to properly cap off Ruca’s NXT run.

Now, she appears main roster-ready. Ruca has spent most of the last four years in NXT, honing her skills before making her main roster debut.

Earlier in the year, Ruca made her Royal Rumble debut, competing in the annual battle royal on Jan. 31, 2026.  She was one of four NXT Superstars in the Women’s Royal Rumble, lasting over 50 minutes and eliminating Jacy Jayne before being eliminated by Tiffany Stratton.
