How much is membership at Aronimink Golf Club and can anyone play PGA Championship venue?

The PGA Championship is being held in Philadelphia at one of the most exclusive courses in America – Aronimink Golf Club.

Defending champion Scottie Scheffler will be hoping to go back-to-back, with Masters winner Rory McIlroy eyeing another major.

The best golfers on the planet will all be featuring and making their way around the historic course over the four days of play.

It is sure to make those watching want to give it a go, but to book a round at Aronimink isn’t a very easy task…

How much is a membership at Aronimink Golf Club?

Opened in 1896, Aronimink Golf Club is situated in Philadelphia and is considered one of the most challenging in the USA.

The Donald Ross-designed course is a par 70 and will measure a maximum of 7,394 yards for the 2026 PGA Championship.

According to Forbes, it had over 300 members as of January 2025.

And to become a member at Aronimink, it is reported to cost $100,000, with $40,000 yearly dues.

It is also ranked eighth in the top 50 Golf Clubs in America.

As Aronimink is a private club, only members are able to play a round at the course whenever they like.

But they can invite guests to play with them, although they have to follow strict behavioural and dress codes.

The second golf major of the year takes place at Aronimink from Thursday, May 14 through to Sunday, May 17.

Play is due to start at 12:30pm UK time each day.
