Guglielmo Vicario agrees to join European giant this summer even if Tottenham survive
Guglielmo Vicario has agreed personal terms with Inter Milan, talkSPORT understands.
The goalkeeper is set to leave north London this summer regardless of Tottenham’s final league position.

talkSPORT reported earlier in the season that he could be heading to the San Siro to join a side currently on course to win the Serie A title.
In the summer of 2023, Spurs announced the signing of the Italian goalkeeper on a five-year deal.
The 29-year-old, who arrived from Udinese, has made 93 appearances for the club, making his debut away at the Gtech Community Stadium on the opening day of the 2023 season.
In his Premier League career, he has kept 18 clean sheets, the first of which came in a 2-0 win over Manchester United.
The Italian international also started in the 2025 Europa League final, keeping a clean sheet as the Lilywhites went on to win their first trophy in 17 years.
Injury struggles
Vicario has recently undergone surgery on a hernia and is currently unfit to play for the relegation-threatened side, hoping he can return before the end of the season.
He had a strong start to life in north London, but has since struggled in a dwindling Spurs side.
His time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been hampered by repeated fitness issues, including an ankle injury last season that sidelined him for over three months.
Throughout the season, Vicario has been criticised by Spurs fans for his inconsistent performances, leading ex-manager Igor Tudor to select second-choice goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky for the Champions League round of 16 tie against Atletico Madrid.

Kinsky’s rebirth
The Czech goalkeeper made a mistake just six minutes into the game, allowing Marcos Llorente to score, and subsequently committed two more errors.
This led to the fastest a team has conceded three goals in a knockout stage match in the competition’s history.
Kinsky eventually had to be substituted for Vicario following a woeful 17-minute cameo.
However, despite the incident, Kinsky was reinstated to the starting lineup, with many fans backing him to keep his place.
That sentiment is shared by the Inside Spurs panel, as Tottenham broadcaster Abbi Summers noted: “I want to give Kinsky so much credit because what happened with him at the Atletico game could have done serious damage to him.
“But the way he’s come back, it’s a position we’re not talking about anymore.”
She added: “We haven’t spoken about the goalkeeper situation at all. He’s come in, and he’s done a much better job than Vicario.

“Usually, we’re sitting here calling out Vicario week in, week out for his mistakes.
“Kinsky’s very calm. I don’t worry about corners. He’s not flappy. He just gives me more confidence, and I would not change that.
“I would not change it. I hope De Zerbi doesn’t.”
