Giants walk off Pirates in stunning fashion to win series
The San Francisco Giants took the series win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday afternoon after a tough loss on Saturday night with a miraculous 12th-inning walk-off from Jesus Rodriguez. The Giants rallied back from a two-run deficit in the bottom of the 6th to tie the game at 4-4, and then scored two runs in the bottom of the 10th to tie the game at 6-6, before Rodriguez sent the fans home happy with a bloop single to right field.

The Rodriguez hit almost ended in disaster for the Giants, as Heliot Ramos was late scoring the run in fear of the ball getting caught by the right fielder. If the right fielder had been more aware and gotten the ball in quicker with an accurate throw, it’s likely that Ramos would’ve been out on a force-out.
More information to come.
