Gabriel Jesus hammered for full-time fight after Arsenal draw: ‘Couldn’t fight his way out a paper bag’
Gabriel Jesus has been slammed for ‘thinking he’s a hard man’ at the end of Arsenal’s clash with Wolves.
The Gunners succumbed to a disappointing 2-2 draw at Molineux on Wednesday night.

Despite taking a 2-0 lead, the Premier League leaders were unable to hold on for all three points.
Instead, they have handed the initiative in the title race to Manchester City ahead of the weekend.
The final whistle was followed by unsavoury scenes on the pitch, though, as Jesus clashed with Wolves’ Yerson Mosquera.
Replays showed the striker had approached the Colombian before shoving him to the ground.
The incident caused a melee between players from both teams as officials scrambled to calm the tensions.
Jesus was ultimately shown a yellow card for his antics by referee Paul Tierney.
The Brazilian had been a second half substitute after replacing Viktor Gyokeres for the final 25 minutes.
talkSPORT verdict
Gabby Agbonlahor has hit out at Jesus’ behaviour at full-time during his assessment of Arsenal’s performance.
The talkSPORT co-host reacted to the incident during Thursday’s Breakfast show.
Agbonlahor explained: “Three wins out of eight in 2026 is not good enough for Arsenal. They looked lethargic last night.

“They didn’t look like a title winning team. They looked nervous. They were time wasting in the last few minutes against Wolves.
“Then after the game, Gabriel Jesus turns into Hulk and thinks he’s the hard man and done nothing when you come on.
“You couldn’t fight your way out of a paper bag, Gabriel. Behave yourself.”
Jesus had been making his 18th appearance in all competitions this season after returning from a torn cruciate ligament.
In that time, the 28-year-old has scored five goals for the Gunners, including two in the league.
However, Arsenal have won just three of their eight Premier League matches so far this year.

Meanwhile, they have been held by Brentford and Wolves in their last two league outings.
As a result, Mikel Arteta’s side sit just five points clear of City, who have a game in hand.
The two sides are also still set to meet at the Etihad Stadium on April 18.
Mikel Arteta’s reaction
Gunners boss Arteta insists his team were nowhere near their best and have to look at themselves for dropping points once again.
“Extremely disappointed obviously with the result and with the way the game ended but we have to blame ourselves,” Arteta said.
“The performance in the second half we didn’t show anything close to the standards required in this league to win. It’s a moment of disappointment, we want to talk a lot about how we’re feeling but it’s not the moment to do that.
“When you are at this level and at the top you need to take the hit, today we deserved. On Sunday we have a big game coming up.
“It was one moment after another moment after another moment. Even though we scored the second goal we never had dominance of the game that’s the reality.”
Arsenal have held leads in each of the last three title races but have gone on to finish second in each season, and Wednesday’s draw may have brought up bad memories that they may once again come second after relinquishing a lead.
Arteta says his team have to accept every criticism that comes their way and need to bounce back against Tottenham on Sunday.
He added: “That’s credit obviously to Wolves, they can’t be underestimated. It’s very basic things and simple things that today we did really wrong and that’s why we had the feeling without conceding much, when the game is open that kind of thing can happen.
“Any question, criticism, opinion, you have to take it on the chin today. That’s it. Any bullet, take it because we didn’t perform at the level required, Anything anybody says can be right because we didn’t do what we had to do. The way to do it is on the pitch on Sunday in another great opportunity we have.
“We have always done it but if you are strong you need to show it next time. To say it here is simple but we have to show it on the pitch.”
