Francis Ngannou reacts to Conor McGregor’s UFC return : ‘I don’t care, bro’
After years of waiting, the Irish loudmouth MMA fighter Conor McGregor is all set to make his UFC return. McGregor is set to fight Max Holloway at the upcoming UFC 329 on Jul. 11, 2026, at T-Mobile Arena.
McGregor’s return was announced at the same time as former UFC Heavyweight Francis Ngannou was making his entrance for his fight against Philipe Lins on Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions. Following his win there, Ngannou was later asked about his thoughts on McGregor’s return.
“And what the f*** do I have to do with that? So I should stop my walkout and look at what’s going on with [Dana White]? I don’t care, bro,” Ngannou said. “Let’s move on. Life goes on, I’m doing my stuff here, I’m doing well, I have no problem. Everybody can do whatever they want.”
Ngannou did not share a positive experience with UFC and Dana White during his final run there, and as many might believe on social media, White announced McGregor’s return at the same time as Ngannou’s entrance as an intentional move. However, instead, it did more good than harm because the Heavyweight’s name started trending simultaneously as McGregor on social media.
Francis Ngannou just reacted to Dana White announcing Conor McGregor’s fight:
“What the f*ck do I have to do with that? I should stop my walkout? I don’t care bro.”

Former UFC star Francis Ngannou was confident entering his match against Philipe Lins

Speaking to ClutchPoints recently ahead of his MVP fight, Ngannou expressed his confidence ahead of his match against Philipe Lins. While he proved his confidence and won the fight, he had certain big words to say before the match.
“ I think I even have more advantage than what you think or what he might think because a lot of people, not a lot of people, some people, they’re on the today, they undermine my determination and my motivation, they think I just go sit home and be comfortable. They, ‘I’m like, oh, you should be on vacation. Oh, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.’ I’m like, these people, they don’t understand [anything.] And then I think if somebody is sleeping into that, then he is gonna find out. It’s gonna be a big surprise for him.”
