Former NFL player makes wild claim on Mike Vrabel, Dianna Russini alleged affair

A former NFL player is sharing his claim on Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini’s alleged affair.

After photos of Vrabel and Russini surfaced at an Arizona luxury resort, Vrabel and Russini have been under fire for allegedly dating while being married to other people. As other photos and accusations between the two have come out such as photos of them seemingly kissing at a New York City bar in 2020, hanging out at a casino following Vrabel’s firing from the Tennessee Titans in 2024, former NFL star T.J. Houshmandzadeh is weighing in on the latest accusation as the two allegedly rented a boat when Russini was pregnant with her first child.

“This wasn’t an affair. That’s his girlfriend, they were dating,” Houshmandzadeh said in an appearance on the “Speakeasy” YouTube show on Wednesday, May 6. “That’s a decision he made, and she also made.”

Houshmandzadeh didn’t stop there, either; he added that “it wouldn’t surprise me” if the baby “might” belong to Vrabel. Ever since fans noted that Russini’s child was named Michael and now seeing that they were on a boat together when she was pregnant with her oldest son, that rumor has been thrown around online. However, Russini and Vrabel have not confirmed those claims and TMZ reports that she named her eldest son after her brother, not Vrabel. Russini has two sons, Michael and Joey, with her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt, whom she married in 2020. As for Vrabel, he married his wife Jen, in 1999, and they share sons Tyler and Carter.

Since the allegations, Vrabel has spoken out about how he went to counseling and has had discussions with the New England Patriots organization as well as his family.

“I’ve had some difficult conversations with people I care about about — with my family, the organization, the coaches, the players. Those have been positive and productive. In order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me. That starts with me,” said Vrabel, in a press conference prior to the start of the NFL Draft last month.
