Forgotten Manchester United duo set to leave club this summer
Manchester United are set to make a major profit on what they paid for goalkeeper Radek Vitek as part of a double departure.
The shot-stopper is close to sealing a permanent transfer to Championship side Middlesbrough.

The 22-year-old is set for a switch to Teesside in a deal that is worth an initial £6million but could reach as much as £14m.
The Red Devils also have a buyback clause inserted into the deal for Vitek.
And it’s a big profit for Man United.
Manchester United paid a minimal undisclosed fee to sign Vitek from Olomouc in 2020.
He has since had loans with Accrington Stanley, Blau Weiss Linz and Bristol City.
Last year for Bristol City, Vitek made 41 Championship appearances, conceding 54 goals and keeping 12 clean sheets.
The 22-year-old is set to undergo a medical with Boro later this week before completing the permanent switch, having never made a senior appearance.
Not the only one
Vitek doesn’t appear to be the only goalkeeper leaving Old Trafford this summer.
Altay Bayindir is set to join Celta Vigo on loan for the upcoming season.
The 28-year-old Turkish international will also have an option to buy for just shy of £3.5m in the deal.
Should that deal go through, it would bring an end to Bayindir’s time at Old Trafford.

Bayindir joined Man United in the summer of 2023 from Fenerbahce.
Overall, he’s played 17 first-team matches for the Red Devils, including ten in the Premier League.
His record in the Premier League saw him keep just one clean sheet and concede 21 goals.
And after featuring just six times last year, he looks to be moving on.
Goalkeeping department revamped
Senne Lammens is the undisputed Man United number one after an impressive debut season in the Premier League.
Bayindir would have thought he’d be number two, but Karl Darlow has arrived from Leeds United.
The Welsh international left Leeds at the end of last season with the expiration of his contract, and he’s been snapped up.
Tom Heaton will likely be third choice, and Michael Carrick did need to make room in that department.
Bayindir and Vitek could end up bringing in decent fees, and these moves give them the chance to play first-team football.
You’ll be able to catch Vitek’s Middlesbrough debut on the talkSPORT network later this month.
