Fever rookie Raven Johnson gets real about Caitlin Clark’s true personality
Caitlin Clark is one of the biggest stars in the WNBA as she approaches her third year in the league. Despite her high status, Indiana Fever teammate Raven Johnson talked about how her co-star remains positive amid the high expectations.
Johnson has entered the WNBA this year after the Fever selected her with the 10th overall pick in the first round of the 2026 draft. She leaves behind an incredible collegiate career at South Carolina, where she helped Dawn Staley and the program win a national championship in 2024. That title featured a win over Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes.
Once opposing players in the past, they are now teammates in present day. Johnson talked about the experience of being Clark’s colleague, having positive remarks to share about the star guard’s personality.
“She’s loving. She’s a goofy person. I think a lot of people don’t really know her outside of basketball,” Johnson said to media on Thursday, via reporter James Boyd. “When I put the Indiana Fever jersey on, I said, ‘Let’s try to win a championship together.’”
