Fans outraged by ‘greedy’ Club WWE announcement

After WWE Network disbanded a few years ago and WWE diversified into YouTube, Peacock, ESPN, and Netflix, the wrestling promotion is now back with something similar, but not just limited to content.

On Monday, during the Apr. 13, 2026 episode of Monday Night RAW, John Cena announced the launch of Club WWE via a digital segment. Cena appeared and announced new details about Club WWE.

However, “The Ultimate Insider Membership Program” did not satisfy the fans as they soon flooded the internet to display their displeasure over the announcement. Calling it a “robbery”, many fans continued to express their outrage on the announcement.

“Your not getting any more of my money you greedy buggers,” wrote one fan. While another fan commented, “How much? We already pay for espn Netflix ppv usa network……what about free merch or free tickets for all we have to pay just to watch wwe?”

One more social media user wrote, “THANKS WWE I’D LOVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEND MONEY TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEND MORE MONEY.” Another disappointed fan pointed out how WWE’s new scheme looks like, “Pay before you pay.” Another concerned fan simply asked, “How much is this gonna cost?”

Announced on WWE RAW, here are a few things you need to know about Club WWE before moving ahead. The latest addition to WWE’s list of services will include the following:

• Points and rewards
• Community forum
• Bonus content
