Exclusive: FC Cincinnati star Miles Robinson faces Max Arfsten in hilarious grilling commercial ahead of World Cup
Miles Robinson and Max Arfsten’s race to the grill got a little…messy.
The FC Cincinnati star and the Columbus Crew left-winger teamed up with Bounty for a hilarious video of the two playing soccer during a tailgate, which ended with Robinson’s kick knocking over some tacos and a pitcher of juice. After the soccer stars realized the mess they had made, they quickly grabbed a Bounty towel to clean up the mess.
In an exclusive interview with ClutchPoints, Robinson shared how he uses Bounty during his own grilling practices, which made the partnership a no-brainer.
“I’m grateful to be a partner with Bounty. I love to grill outside on my deck,” the FC Cincinnati star said. “I’ll be making hamburgers, hot dogs, and sometimes I’m a little clumsy and knock over the ketchup or a drink or something but luckily, a little long way with Bounty. I’m always bringing the role of Bounty outside, and it’s a great partnership because it worked out.
Robinson shared that his love for grilling began with his enjoyment of being outside.
“Whenever I’m just outside, I’m listening to music, enjoying nature and then obviously grilling just adds to the whole dynamic of it,” he added. “I’m always happy to grill outside to bring my Bounty out there and then we’re all good.”
Grilling is just a part of what Robinson plans to do outside this summer, as he was called to be a part of the US National Team ahead of 2026 FIFA World Cup. He shared what it was like getting that phone call, one that he had dreamed of since his childhood.
“Yeah, it’s always like an honor to represent the US. It’s something I’ve always kind of dreamed of since I was a little kid,” Robinson explained. “So for it to come into fruition now and then in the past as well, it’s like one of those things you don’t really recognize how much of a big deal it is until after the fact. I think even my younger self would be pretty like amazed of the things I’ve accomplished. But I think I still got a long way to go and I still have some some things I want to cross off my list. But overall, just just grateful, you know?”
The 2026 FIFA World Cup begins in Mexico City on June 11 and will conclude on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
