Elliot Cadeau suffers allergic reaction before Michigan leaves for Final Four
Michigan basketball will be facing off against Arizona in the Final Four, and it is supposed to be one of the more anticipated matchups of the tournament. Before Michigan left for the game, one of their players had a medical emergency, according to WWJ 950.
“NEW… a member of the Michigan Wolverines basketball team needed medical attention as the team prepared to depart for the Final Four this afternoon from Ann Arbor. Sources say an allergic reaction. Player, said to be fine, expected to join the team later,” WWJ 950 wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
It was later confirmed that the player was Elliot Cadeau.
“Statement from Michigan athletics: Before the team departed the Player Development Center today, Elliot Cadeau alerted the medical staff that he may have had an allergic reaction to something that he ate. The doctors evaluated Elliot and he is fine,” Chris Balas wrote.
