Dominick Reyes vs. Johnny Walker prediction, odds, pick for UFC 327

The UFC 327: Prochazka vs. Ulberg Main Card is heating up as we present a prediction and pick for this next bout in the Light Heavyweight (205) Division. Ranked veterans face off as No. 10 Dominick Reyes takes on No. 12 Johnny Walker in a showdown you won’t want to miss! Check our UFC odds series for the Reyes-Walker prediction and pick.

Dominick Reyes (15-5) has gone 9-5 during his UFC tenure since 2017. The former title challenger notched three consecutive wins (3 KO) but most recently fell to Carlos Ulberg in September 2025 as he returns the betting favorite looking to get a win back on his record. Reyes stands 6-foot-4 with a 77-inch reach.

Johnny Walker (22-9) has gone 8-6-0-1 since his UFC debut in 2018. An original Contender Series product, the always-exciting Brazilian notched a performance bonus his last time out with a knockout of Mingyang Zhang, looking to do the same on Saturday. Walker stands 6-foot-6 with an 82-inch reach.

Why Dominick Reyes Will Win

  • Last Fight: (L) Carlos Ulberg – KO (right cross, R1)
  • Last 5: 3-2
  • Finishes: 10 KO/TKO, 2 SUB

After notching three-straight knockouts over the likes of Dustin Jacoby, Anthony Smith, and Nikita Krylov, Dominick Reyes ran into a brick wall of a right hand from Carlos Ulberg in their headlining September bout. Up to that point, he was looking like the old version of himself that contended Jon Jones for a title back in the day, so expect a similar Dominick Reyes as he takes on a fellow veteran in Johnny Walker.

While it’s clear the stock of Carlos Ulberg has only gone up since Reyes lost to him, the knockout was still bad enough to leave a lasting mark and force a lengthier layoff for Reyes. He’ll be facing similar one-punch knockout power from Walker, so Reyes will have to be defensive in his movements as the shorter fighter in height and reach. Lateral movement and slipping off to create angles will have to be the focus of Reyes’ game as he avoids any chaotic exchanges from Walker.

While Reyes has been successful in brawls before, the reality is that both him and Walker have compromised chins at this point and both run the risk of getting knocked out clean. From this standpoint, Reyes is the more technical and fundamentally sound boxer, which should aid him avoiding clean strikes and countering effectively when Walker whiffs on his shots.

Why Johnny Walker Will Win

  • Last Fight: (W) Mingyang Zhang – KO (punches, R2)
  • Last 5: 2-2-0-1
  • Finishes: 17 KO/TKO, 3 SUB

After suffering back-to-back losses at the hands of Magomed Ankalaev and Volkan Oezdemir, Walker bounced back impressively with a knockout over highly-touted prospect Mingyang Zhang. The knockout earned him a performance bonus, a nice change of pace after getting knocked out in both of his previous fights. There’s an equal chance Walker will either knock his opponent out or get knocked out himself, but it’s always a 100% guarantee he’s good for an exciting bout.

Walker will have a significant reach advantage to work with during this bout, especially in his leg reach and ability to snap the low leg kicks. Walker doesn’t have much regard for his own safety when throwing strikes, which can end in a myriad of ways, but his unusual power has folded many opponents in the past. If he’s able to maintain a tall striking stance and use his reach to catch Reyes, he can easily end this fight with one clean punch and walk away victorious.

Still, Walker’s own propensity to getting knocked out has grown its own lore within the sport, so it’ll be interesting to see how defensive he is realizing he’s 1-2 over his last three fights. If we see a mature and patient version of Walker, he should be able to win this fight inside the distance.

Final Dominick Reyes-Johnny Walker Prediction & Pick

Both fighters come into this bout with tremendous knockout power, but they also have three knockout losses between the both of them in their last 3 fights. While Dominick Reyes will be looking to pick apart Walker with his clean boxing combinations, Walker will be looking to throw the kitchen sink at Reyes in terms of strikes to the body and kicks to all three levels.

With how close this betting line is, we should expect a solid bout from both sides that could swing in either direction throughout. I expect Dominick Reyes to be hurt on occasions, but his striking up to this point has been more consistent opposite of Walker’s. If he’s able to catch Walker and wobble him, we like his chances to follow it up with accurate shots to end the fight. Still, we’ll side with the over as both fighters open this bout cautiously.

Final Dominick Reyes-Johnny Walker Prediction & Pick: Dominick Reyes (-142); OVER 1.5 Rounds (+160)
