Dimitar Berbatov tells Darren Bent to ‘get out’ after learning ex-Spurs star is secret Arsenal fan
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov was stunned to find out that Darren Bent is a secret Arsenal fan.
The Bulgarian legend joined Andy Goldstein and Bent on Drive to talk about his career, Manchester United and the Champions League final.

Berbatov is set to play in Soccer Aid on Sunday, live on talkSPORT, and jumped in to have a word with Bent and Goldstein live from training.
And when he found out a former Spurs teammate was a Gooner, he couldn’t believe it.
Not Gunner believe it
Speaking about the Champions League final, Goldstein said: “Well, look, you’ve got an Arsenal fan to your right. and in front of you, you’ve got someone that’s not an Arsenal fan.”
Berbatov replied: “What do you mean Arsenal fan?”
After Bent appeared guilty for not telling Berbatov, Goldstein then stated: “Hold on, did you not know this when you played together?”
Bent responded: “No, I’m not going to announce it, am I?”
As Berbatov was sent into raptures and jokingly told Bent to ‘get out’, Goldstein then asked his Drive co-host: “You kept that quiet in the dressing room?”
To which Bent stated: “I didn’t walk in and go, ‘By the way, everyone, I’m an Arsenal fan.”

Berbatov cheekily added: “You see? Secrets.”
Why Berba is backing PSG over Benty’s Gunners
On what he made of the news, the Bulgarian stated: “I’m not going to say it.
“Because, obviously, playing for Spurs, rivalry with Arsenal is a big one.
“At the same time, I always liked the way Arsenal used to play, and even playing now, because, pass, pass.
“They also have in their arsenal now another weapon, set pieces, which they were lacking back in the day, because it was easy for us to bully them, they were a bit soft.
“Now, I think they took lessons from other teams, and they saw that if you do a set piece correctly, it’s almost half a goal, or a goal.
“And they took advantage of it, well done for them, at the same time, PSG, man, the way they play football, it’s a joy to watch as well.
“So, I support English football, but I go with PSG.”

Berbatov then quipped: “Purely because I play for Spurs, and he supports Arsenal.”
A shocked Goldstein was still stunned, leading Bent to say: “I’m not going to go up to Berbatov and go, ‘By the way, Arsenal.”
Berbatov replied: “Not only me, but the whole dressing room, ‘Guys, I play for Spurs, but I support Arsenal.”
Bent concluded: “Yeah, I can’t do that.”
Tottenham men reunited
Despite not playing with each other too many times across spells at Tottenham and Fulham, it’s always good to see former teammates reunited.
And Berbatov played for a Spurs side that until last year was the last one to win anything.

The striker was in the 2007/08 League Cup-winning team that beat Chelsea 2-1, with the Bulgarian scoring in that match to write himself into the club’s history.
Speaking about his time at Spurs in 2017, he thanked the club for signing him from Bayer Leverkusen and giving him a chance in England.
He said: “Spurs were the team who gave me the opportunity to show what I could do in England, you don’t forget that.
“It helped me develop as a player.”
