Did this former WWE world champion cryptically tease their return from injury after 7 months?

Last seen wrestling on an episode of Monday Night RAW in 2025, Sheamus’ last in-ring bout dates back to a 6-man tag-team against The Judgment Day, where he teamed up with John Cena and Rey Mysterio.

Now, six months have passed since Sheamus was injured and ruled out of action. With the WWE WrestleMania season now over and the promotion also done with two of their post-WrestleMania PLEs, Sheamus has possibly dropped a major return tease.

On social media, “The Celtic Warrior” uploaded a picture of his iconic fedora and a Funko Pop. Despite no concrete update on his return date, fans in the comment section believed that the post was indeed a cryptic update about his comeback.

“Where the hell are you! We are in dire need of some good bangers mate,” wrote one fan. While another fan commented, “Ayo sheamus this better be a return post buddy.” A few other comments also suggested Sheamus bringing back his infamous mohawk upon his return. “Gotta bring the Mohawk back one last time.” “Come back to us Fella,” wrote another user.

WWE star Sheamus addresses his injury

A few weeks ago, while speaking to QTB Football, Sheamus opened up about his injury and his recovery period. “It kind of came out of nowhere. But ultimately, it was just a matter of time before it stopped moving on me. I tried to push through it to the point where I couldn’t move my arms. I had surgery on December 30. Ever since then, I’ve been rehabbing.”
