Crystal Palace will head into tonight’s Conference League knockout stage play-off second leg on the back of a 1-0 victory over Wolves on Sunday afternoon, just the club’s second win in their last 16 matches.

Zrinjski Mostar have qualified for the knockout stage of a European competition for the first time in the club’s history in just the club’s second season having reached the group/league phase.

The Bosnian side previously reached the group stage of the Conference League a couple of seasons ago, where they drawn alongside Aston Villa but were eliminated after finishing bottom of their group.

Managed by former West Ham and Derby defender Igor Stimac, tonight will be Zrinjski’s 16th European match of the season having started with a 2-0 win in San Marino in early July in Champions League first round qualifying match.

Nicknamed ‘the Nobles’ the Bosnian side were defeated by Slovan Bratislava in the second round of Champions League qualifying which saw them transfer to Europa League qualifying, where a play-off defeat against Utrecht saw them transfer to the league phase of the Conference League.

The reigning Bosnian champions haven’t scored a single goal away from home in the Conference League so far this season, and make the trip to London for tonight’s clash without a win in their last three matches.
