Cops called on AEW star after Knicks’ OG Anunoby’s game winner
After almost five decades, glory has returned to the streets of New York, especially for the Knicks fans. Last week, Jalen Brunson and his team helped the Knicks secure the NBA Championship after dominating and defeating the Spurs 4-1 in the finals.
AEW wrestler Eddie Kingston, who hails from Yonkers, New York, watched his home team, the New York Knicks, compete and win the finals. While he was left overjoyed with the win, it was soon turned sour when his neighbours called the cops on him.
During Kingston’s recent virtual signing for Highspots, he revealed his immediate reaction after OG Anunoby’s game-winner. Kingston shared that he yelled and began throwing things, which eventually led to his neighbours calling the cops.
“OG Anunoby! Oh man. My neighbours called the cops on me after OG hit that shot to win the game for the Knicks, because I was screaming and yelling, and I threw a bunch of stuff in the house,” Kingston shared.
Game four of the NBA Finals saw the Knicks make a sensational comeback against the San Antonio Spurs, when they came back from 29 points, and it was a tip-in game-winner from OG Anunoby that sealed the win for the Knicks. Game 4 ended 107-106, with the Knicks winning it and securing the championship.
While Kingston was not directly involved with the Knicks, he is a fan of the team and expressed his joy with them winning after 53 years. On the other hand, WWE’s Danhausen was directly involved with the Knicks. It is highly believed that his uncursing the Knicks was the main cause behind their win.
