‘Circus’ – Simon Jordan slams John Fury outburst and accuses him of trying to upstage son Tyson Fury
Simon Jordan has claimed John Fury’s angry outburst at his son Tyson’s press conference was a ‘carnival of horrors’.
The Fury clan were in London to promote Tyson Fury’s heavyweight comeback against Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11.

It was a fanfare of media and attention for the return of the ‘Gypsy King’ who remains one of boxing’s biggest commercial superstars despite his hiatus.
But as has been in the past, it was his father John who captured the spotlight before a word was even spoken on stage at the press conference.
The most senior Fury went on an angry rampage shouting and screaming, taking aim at retired world champion turned pundit Carl Froch.
After his furious rant which went on for several minutes, Fury Sr departed the press conference after announcing his exit on stage.
talkSPORT’s Jordan has been critical of the actions, claiming that everything should be about his son’s imminent return.
He said on White & Jordan: “I guess it is part and parcel of the territory.
“But you have to take it with a pinch of salt or seriously, it is all theatrics.
“It makes you die, the fragility of it. I hate to break it to you John, I know you are a part of this circus and carnival of horrors that comes to town, it isn’t about you.
“He’s not even in the equation. It’s about your son, everyone is interested in your son. I hate to give you an epihpony but it isn’t about you.
“They are so fragile. In life you get criticism. This is what you get when the Fury’s roll into town.”

Simon Jordan: Tyson Fury does deserve credit, he is a superstar
Despite criticising some of the Fury camp’s actions, Jordan does believe that former two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson does deserve equal credit.
Fury spoke well on stage, including revealing the role of Anthony Joshua’s car crash in encouraging him to return.
And Jordan believes Fury’s comeback brings eye on to the sport, a good thing for the future.
He continued: “At his charismatic best, Tyson is a star.
“He elevates the room, brings intrigue and engagement and all of the things you want from a top sports star to bring.
“So yes, I think boxing if Tyson is at his charismatic best is increased. He divides opinion so it brings engagement and at high tide, all of the boats rise.

Irrespective of opinions on Fury, he will be back and his event in April will likely once again be one of the biggest of the year.
Despite now being 37-years-old, the Fury camp believe he is of course more than capable of re-entering the world title mix.
Big fights could come later in 2026 including a potential world title shot against the winner of Fabio Wardley vs Daniel Dubois, which takes weeks later.
