Cheapest Super Bowl LX tickets selling for jaw-dropping sum ahead of ‘one of most expensive games’ ever
If you want to attend Super Bowl LX, then you’re in luck as tickets are still available.
The caveat is that it’s going to cost a small fortune.

The New England Patriots will take on the Seattle Seahawks on February 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
According to NFL.com, tickets are still available “primarily through secondary market platforms“, including StubHub, TickPick, and Seat Geek, among others.
On StubHub, the cheapest price for a single ticket was $6,360 after fees, on Jan 30.
But these prices increased to as much $92,900 for a VIP ticket based on the 50-yard line after tax.
With the game still over a week away, these prices are only likely to skyrocket, before coming down a bit in the final 72 hours before kickoff.
According to Seat Geek, who conducted thorough numerical research from previous Super Bowls, this is when fans should decide whether to bite the bullet.
“The best time to buy Super Bowl tickets is typically 48 to 72 hours before kickoff, or even on game day, as prices often drop by 25-40% from their post-conference championship peak,” Seat Geek said.
“The cheapest ‘get-in’ prices are often found on the day of the game or the day before.”
Currently, the average ‘get in’ price is approximately $7,502, according to TickPick as of Jan. 29, thus making it the most affordable of the most recent six Super Bowl contests.
However, TickPick co-CEO and cofounder Brett Goldberg offered some reasoning as to why this may be the case.

“The biggest question is whether the trend of fans waiting until Super Bowl weekend to purchase tickets, hoping to get a better deal, will continue,” Goldberg said, via Forbes.
“This has been increasing year-over-year. Last year, 45% of all orders were placed on Super Bowl weekend. It could be even higher this year.”
This falls far below that of Super Bowl 58 between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, which had an average ticket cost of $12,128.
Regardless of whichever secondary market fans turn to to purchase their Super Bowl tickets, they will be paying over a third more than what fans paid to attend the Patriots-Seahawks match-up in 2015.
At that time, Super Bowl XLIX was the third-most expensive ever, with average resale ticket prices hovering around $4,000.
According to Forbes, though, both franchise’s value has more than doubled.
